The official start time of Thurgoland CE Primary School is 8:45am and the official end of the compulsory school day is 3:15pm, which meets the DfE requirement of 32.5 hours per week. 

Should you require wrap around care, this is provided by Thurgoland Out Of School Cluc (TOOSC). Situated in the youth centre, Thurgoland Out of School Club (OFSTED Outstanding 2018), provides affordable childcare. Run by qualified staff offering both breakfast and after school club as well as holiday club.

Breakfast club opening times are 7:30-8:45am costing £5.50 

After School sessions are 3:15-6pm costing £8.50

Holiday sessions are either 5.5 hours @ £17.50 or 10.5 hours @ £27.50. 

Children play like a home from home setting both indoor (wide range of toys/crafts and games) and outside (weather permitting).
