Thurgoland Cof E Primary School is fortunate to enjoy close links with Thurgoland Pre-School. The Pre-School shares the same site and is located at the rear of the school. Thurgoland Pre-School is a registered charity and as such is managed by a voluntary committee, made up of parents of those children attending the Pre-School. The Pre-School is run by Kerry Marshall and her team of qualified and experienced staff. Pre-School Staff can be contacted on 0114 288 3848
TOOSC runs from the Youth Centre, next to the Village Hall, providing affordable child care for all children aged 3 – 11 years.
Breakfast Club runs from 7.30am to 8.50am and costs £3.70 per child. We offer a wide choice of healthy cereals plus fruit, toast, juice, milk or water available, then we escort the children to school, crossing with the School Crossing Patrol.
After School Club operates from 3.30pm to 6.00pm, collecting the children from school and escorting them to the centre. We offer a wide range of activities and (weather permitting) we have access to the playground and field adjacent to the centre. We offer healthy snacks and drinks are available at all times – sessions are £6.30 per child.
Holiday Club offers full daycare from 7.30am to 6.00pm at £18.00 per child or a half day care (either 7.30am to 1.00pm or 1.00pm to 6.00pm) for £10. Also for £10, any five and half hour session, starting at any time during the day. Children coming for a full day, or over lunch time, should bring a packed lunch.
Activities include sewing, knitting, junk modelling, Playstations, I.C.T, construction toys, drawing, playdoh, ball skills, cooking, painting, drama role play and lots lots more! Booking contact number: 07748 177686
